Since first stepping foot on the stage in September 2008, Tony Jameson has gone on to become one of the UKs hottest comedic talents. He gave up his day job as a college lecturer in 2012, and since then he has gone from strength to strength. His laid back, chatty, observational style has seen him become a favourite at many venues.

Tony is regularly seen performing as an act or MC for promoters such as The Stand, Off The Kerb, Hot Water Comedy Club, Avalon, Manfords, Just The Tonic, Toby Jones, Last Laugh, Jongleurs, Hilarity Bites, as well as many independent promoters.

Wonderful... terrific... life affirming stuff

In 2016, Tony toured the UK with his critically acclaimed sell out show, Football Manager Ruined My Life. This was his debut tour, which included a week long residency at both Leicester Square Theatre and Museum of Comedy in London. If you missed the tour, don't worry, the show was recorded at a sold out Newcastle Stand infront of 300 people which is available to buy on DVD or download the show via Steam.

In terms of additional media work away from the circuit, Tony has hosted various events including music festivals, e sports events, live podcasts. Podcasting is something Tony has a passion for, and was one third of the Yet Another Comedy Podcast team with Danny Deegan and Rob Mulholland, and the same fraction of the Animates team with Jim Smallman and Katie Mulgrew. Tonys passion for football had allowed him to write for The Secret Footballer and appear on TalkSport and BBC Radio 5Live. He's also graced the silver screen where he was featured rather heavily in the feature documentary, Football Manager: An Alternative Reality which was shown in 60 VUE cinemas across the UK and broadcast around the world.

Painfully funny...

In 2013 at Darlington Comedy Festival, Tony performed a show which was potentially a world first... a live comedy show conducted via Skype. Tony Jamesons' Comedy Chat Roulette involved Tony, live on stage in front of a live audience, introducing randomly selected comedy chums to join him via Skype from wherever they might be on a video screen. It was basically a showcase of comedians who weren't actually there. Tony has also been invited to do support slots for comedians such as Stewart Francis, Kevin Bridges, Matt Richardson and WWE Hall of Famer, Mick Foley.
